There’s an undeniable beauty in the dark, moody, brooding undertones and feels of this piece, titled The Tragedy and created in 1903 by French artist Pablo Picasso. To me, this is in a way a reminder that life is full of hardships and challenging times and that it’s something we all share and sometimes have to bear as a family or with those we are close to.
There is some info on the net regarding what conclusions others may have drawn about this piece of work, but sometimes with art, I prefer to make my own assumptions.
This is a gorgeous print in overall excellent, gently worn, vintage condition with some edge damage but nothing that can’t be covered but by a matte or frame.
